INTEX 28666 | Chlorine and ozone generator 220-240V, turns the salt into chlorine and produces ozone. Connected to the pool pump it eliminates bacteria, algae and other contaminants without resorting to chemical additives. Natural salt is added directly into the tank. SALT NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE. Suitable for pools with a capacity above 56,800 L. Requires a filtering pump with flow between 53.678 L/h and 15.140 L/h. It generates 11 g/h of chlorine and 150 g/h of ozone. Package weight 16.3 kg | NOT SUITABLE TO UNDERGROUND POOLS. Ozone (O3) is active oxygen, the most powerful known natural disinfectant. Ozone eliminates bacteria 3000 times faster than chlorine. In nature it is created by the combination of the oxygen in the air exposed to the action of ultraviolet sunrays or, by lightning electrical discharge during thunderstorms. Ozone destroys bacteria, viruses, spores, cysts and fungi, oxidizes metals (steel, manganese, etc.), molecularly breaks down greases. Given its nature (it is nascent oxygen), unlike other products that are normally used in pools, it does not add anything to the water if not one of the two compounds of which it is composed, that is oxygen. Ozone is a safe gas, non-flammable nor explosive, and at the right concentrations it does not produce toxic gases. Living water will come out of the swimming pool inlets, rich in oxygen bubbles.
